My remodeling dream team has done it again!! (Well, technically this time it was my dream duo, since Casey was sick and wasn't able to help on this project.) Our basement is finally done!! At least the big projects anyway. The carpet makes such a huge difference and it's a great space. We've really enjoyed it so far :) Thanks guys!!

My husband, the psychic

Apparently, since I've been pregnant and have had all kinds of wacky hormone changes, my husband felt left out and decided to have some changes of his own. He has become a pyschic. I know that sounds hard to believe, but he proved it last night. We were watching an episode of "Reba", well, actually I was watching it while he cooked dinner (he is a fantastic husband) and it was the episode where Reba's daughter has her baby. It was a funny one, with flashbacks of the daughter, Cheyenne, growing up and I was enjoying it. Well, it gets to the part where Cheyenne has the baby, and then she's there with her husband and they're holding their new daughter, realizing they really are parents. Then Reba takes her new grandbaby and sings her a lullaby. It's really sweet and touching, and, you guessed it, I started to tear up a little. Well, without even looking at me, my husband yells from the kitchen "Stop it." (He thinks it's a little ridiculous when I get emotional over tv shows, particularly since they're not real people.) He knew I was crying before I had even made it to the tissue box. I tell you what - the man is psychic. Or maybe I'm just getting to be predictable. Or it could be all those episodes of "Psych" we've been watching. Who knows? It's a mystery to me :)

My remodeling dream team has done it again!! Dad, Casey and Brandon tiled the kitchette and entryway from the backyard. It looks really good!! Our next project is carpeting the rest of the basement, hopefully we'll have pictures of that really soon!!
