Sullivan Family Reunion

Each night the kids got to take a bath together after the day's festivities, it was pretty cute :)

They must have been playing "How many people can we fit in this bed"

Bingo!!

Line dancing

In June we had a Sullivan Family Reunion. It was so great to see everyone and we had a great time!! Complete with a traditional afternoon of Bingo and line dancing. Next time we need to reinstate the talent show :)

Colorado Tornado

So, never in my recollection of living in Colorado have we ever had tornadoes touch down in town. Missouri - yes, Colorado - no. But, once my husband, who is from Missouri, moved to Colorado we had a summer full of tornadoes. One afternoon we were driving around, looking at houses, and happened to spot this one. Before we got back in the car to run for cover, Brandon insisted we pull out the camera to take a picture. Luckily, we made it home safely, and got a pretty cool picture out of the deal.

Summer Fun Part One

Some people say he has a lot of bath toys, I don't know what they're talking about...

We went to a farm that was set up like it would be in pioneer days. It was a lot of fun - but as you might have noticed by the kids' hair, it was a little hotter than we had expected, and we walked further than we had intended to, but it was worth it.

Evan was listening intently to the firefighter explaining how the truck worked.

He even got to see what it looked like inside!

Uncle Brandon trying to talk Evan into climbing into the tractor.

Evan wasn't real sure about being in there...

A sports car was more his style :)

I don't know if you can tell, but Steph had just cut James' hair and there was hair all over his back. A glimpse into the future, perhaps?

He's a picky eater - but he almost always loves pasta!!

Papa Nick goes all out entertaining the grandkids :)

Fourth of July!

This was just funny!!

Caden's First Birthday Party!!

The Birthday Boy!

We noticed that on Caden's Construction Themed Cake there was a pile of dirt that looked a little bit like a pile of poop. So, being the mature people that we are, Steph and I found a toy dog to position just right on the cake :)

He was excited for his first taste of cake!

James showed him how to dig in

They enjoyed themselves :)

Caden's expressions of excitement were cracking us up!

It wouldn't be a party if there wasn't a chance to play on a slide.
